I beg to differ I am very sure it was KB100 engine. Found this lil bit on Yahoo answers as well that says it basically was a KB built in the SX formOriginally posted by jasmeetsinghchawla View Post

There was so much of buzz around I remember back in school. That was the bike we had all been looking forward to. i still remember it first appeared in oen of the Auto mags - "Auto India" I think. it was absolutley awesome to see it first in Red.

One of my friends of the fairer sex ended up winning this bike at a some sort of a lottery at the Channel V road show back then and the damn girl never used it or nothing. I guess it ended up rotting away in her garage unused. What a waste.Originally posted by shelleve View PostThere was so much of buzz around I remember back in school. Hi nirvan
I'm referring to the picture in the first page , the shape of the engine block resembles that of samurai or Max R engine, the picture in the second page is a SX Endura , this pic has been uploaded by me.The KB series engine head has a distinct shape. The crank case KB engines looks very different from that of Suzuki

Even my dad's staffs used to have these bikes. Our's was a shrimp business and the staffs used to go on these bikes on the beach as it had off road capability.
I still remember the sound of the engine, it sounded more like a two stroke bike and I'm surprised to know its 4stroke. But the bike was bad, it used to break very often and I remember once I was about the fell from the pillion seat as there was nothing to hold on to. lol

The SX was a 2 stroke not a four stroke. Yep the SX did not have sissy bar to hold on to.

Found some more pics on the net, but sadly these dont look completely genuine as well. People who have seen this bike up close can comment better.

A friend had one of these... it was a crap bike... we use to call it "all show no go"... the RX100 and the KB100 RTZ use to run circles around it... it was said that Rajiv Bajaj has started it as a pet project when he had just joined Bajaj in the early nineties... it was actually a bike which was suppose to be a souped up KB100.... however, I suspect Bajaj would love to forget it as product or at least never be reminded of it ...Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

You would be better off with an KB 100 RTZ or RX100 or the Shogun....Originally posted by jagadeesh.b View Postdoes anyone have one for sale?Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

You could have better luck finding a Norton/AJS/Matchless etc but the enduro - I don't even remember when I saw one last.Originally posted by jagadeesh.b View Postdoes anyone have one for sale?
Sure the RX/KB/Shogun can go circles around it but only on the tarmac - take it off the road and I am sure with good tyres and a good rider, all the others will bite some dust.
I am not in india rite now but I had seen on Enduro a few years back and even checked with the guy if he would like to sell it and got a -ve reply. Last time I went that route, the bike was still there, not sure if it still there. However, you can check the attached file. The red line indicates the place to find the mechanic. This is on the route when you are going from Koti to Chaderghat.
If you can find one and get it into the condition as the ones in the pics earlier in this thread, for sure you will have a very different/unique bike on the road - all the other bikes wud look oh so common
