heck of a plan there..!

how i wish i could escape and do this..! Never ever been to the auto show..

will follow this thread keenly, and maybe .. just maybe ..if everything falls in place.. might jump in..

The rough plan

well, this is on a much bigger scale than what i or James had done previously before, we have both done Solo and Group rides, but not anything over 1500kms on the whole. And goingby Google maps (though i am not sure it is the safest route) this one is going to be 2000 kms + just one way!!!

Anyways Google maps threw out this route, which i am already hearing to be is quite a dangerous route. So people who have travelled this road, kindly throw some light on waht to expect.

1.Bangalore - Hyderabad - Nagpur - Gwalior - Agra - Delhi (2081kms)

The second route, longer but i guess sweeter is

2.Bangalore to Pune - Ahmedabad - Jaipur - Delhi (2500kms approx)

So what do you guys suggest.

Oh by the way, i forgot to add - We are planning to do this trip in exactly 7 days, so its gonna be three days up and three days down and one day spent Olging at the Auto Expo.

Now isn that what you would call a whirlwind ride??

@savage1romeo. Count me in.. i was planning to go to the autoexpo in jan will a fellow Xbhpian ACEHUNTER. After reading this wonderful plan you have got me really excited now and i guess there will be many other who would be willing to join. BTW riding 4000 odd kms and staying only a day in Delhi doesn't sound too good.. we could plan to cover the distances between cities much faster by starting early mornings or many be we could extend the trip by a day more.. just an opinion.

Awaiting inputs from many like minded bikers.

Recently did the Bangalore-Pune-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi Route; Would agree with Josh that 3 days would be a rush and 1 Day to the expo dsnt do it justice. If time is the constraint than i wld suggest take the Bangalore-Hyd-Agara-Delhi route one way and the other on the way back but 3 days would still be a rush. 3 Days mean 800+ Km each day and that itself is quite a push

@rajat: Thanks for the input. I kinda was thinking on the same lines. How was the Bangalore-Pune-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi Route that you did?

I am all up for increasing the number of days for the trip guys, was just thinking that if it was shorter then more guys might join in. The more the merrier

@sharkbite: currently i ride a pulsar 150 dtsi (spoke wheels), will be upgrading it to the new 220 this month end.
