My std 350 oil leaking from the tappet cover. This happens when riding above 50kmph. On close examination it looked like it was comin from the stud in the middle even though it bolted with an ss washer. Can anybody please provide a solution to stop the leakage.

Disc brake Setup on RE Std CI Model

              Hi guys,

I need to know what is the cost involved and spare parts needs to be replaced for installing Disc brake on RE Std 1983 CI model. Also it would be good if any specialist mechanic in Mumbai/ thane who can do it.

And last how effective is the disc on old models?

              Thanks

You get the full kit assembly for disc brake. RE supplies them. The disc, hub, spokes, master cylinder, lever and the pipline along with the nut bolt. Cost is around rs7800. After assembling the spokes and disc, you just have to grind the support of the drum on the left shocker, where the old drum outer locks. Any seasoned mechanic will do it.
Having a disc is very handy in tricky dangerous situations.

                          RE handle

                          Hello xBHP members,

My name is Mohammed, I love this forum.
I need your help in modification. I own a new RE standard 350 and help on getting the right handle. I live in Mumbai and if someone can suggest where can make or get one. I have a back problem and asked to have a straight posture when ridding or sitting. Challenge is I can't quit riding as that the fastest way to commute to daily work.. Also a bigger challenge is due to my height I need to bend. Where in Mumbai I can get the best RE handle and other items. We have lot of places for it but I am not getting the right answer.

Anybody who could help, based on own or others experience?

Thanks in advance for the approval.

                            Hi,

You can buy RD 350 handle from any good shop nearby your area. I got my handle from Nerul Service Centre as i stay in Navi Mumbai. Have seen many new designs now a days at Babloo Motors vashi. You can also visit Imran Bhai at WE.
