ya i tested mine with stock ones of 2 of my friend's zma. i literally f****d my both friends bikes. after that they both exchanged bikes with me and that time i was behind them on their bikes. next day they both hav also done sprocketting, one has done 14/38 and other has done 14/37.Originally posted by HydroXidE View PostNice stuff!
Have you done a few tests against a stock Kari yourself ?
Your sprocket combination is taller, so it will be sluggish and a stock Kari should feel more peppy.. correct? .. can you just indicate what speed your bike does at 4k rpm, with your sprocket combi? (edit: without using NOS)
so, is it that this sprocket combination is being used by you only to keep the stock revs low, so that the NOS doesn't always go over rev?
also what octane fuel are you using?
my bike does 80km/hr at 4k rpm in 5th gear (nos doesnt matters weather its on or off).
currently im using SHELL super. 97 octane is the highest octane available in market. i was planning to get some high quality gas from aviation industry. but these fuels also work good.

Congrats Harish
Congrats Harish, I think now we can see the actual Desi Made "DHOOM" with your bike. I dont know Karizma or any other indian bike is capable to use NOS full potential!
1 more things, the traffic cops in your city will have to upgrade their technology and they also will have to order NOS to catch you
Now you can say "Catch Me if You Can"

i may be wrong, (too sleepy) but after the first two seconds, the N2O kari accelerates almost on par with the stock one. shouldn't it be a progressively widening gap between the two curves on the graph if the N2O kari is making consistently more power?
why is the power advantage pretty much lost in two seconds?
have you upjetted on the carbs?
All the N2O does is bring more oxygen to the combustion. you need more fuel to burn it for any significant advantage over stock. otherwise you will just run lean on the N2O.
if i was in your place, i would have gone BIG on the main jet, keeping the pilot jet stock. you make sure to activate the N2O only at full throttle and more than 50% rpm. (or automatically activate the N2O using a TPS (throttle position sensor) from the discover or something) so you will have the right mix of fuel and N2O when you need it, and can run it like the stock bike if you go easy on the throttle.Last edited by braindead; 11-11-2009, 07:15 PM.Abhishek

thanks!Originally posted by moeed View PostNice article. Congrats mate! What top speed have you achieved on your bike with the NOS?
my bike's top speed is 160(speedo reading) in 5th gear at 8000 rpm.
basically NOS doesnt increases the top speed, it only helps in reaching the redline immidiately, coz n2o increases combustion.
my bikes top speed has increased only coz of 14/38 sprocket.
all the thanks to sprockets.

i will be getting 28 mm keihin flatslide from a friend.Originally posted by braindead View Postwhich keihin carb? what size? what jets?
couldn't read the article... who is doing the N2O setup?

i know who it is. tell the fool to keep a fatter jet for the n2o handy in case you want "more power"
him and me might try out the tps linked boost when i land there, i have a feeling it may improve your acceleration time if you dont have to keep pushing the button every time you need the n2o shot.
for the best results, the n2o should be seamlessly integrated in the bike. if you run out of the 'gas' all that will happen is you will go a bit richer on the mainjet.
your n2o supplier or me can probably procure/drill out the required jets for the carb.
