Hi all,
Its been almost 4 weeks since I got my FZ and now have about 350KM done on it cos was busy with my bro's wedding and office stuff. Wasnt minding the 4500 RPM/55 KMPH limit since earlier was mostly moving in traffic. Now have started to make some runs on the EE Highway and am getting really pissed when Bajaj Chetak's start overtaking me
Just got the manual today and was browsing through it when I read in the running in section "Do not take the engine over 4500 RPM over prolonged periods " That was all the justifiation that I needed and hit a couple of short bursts touching 80 and coming back. Man that was a rush that left me smiling for hours afterwards.. cant wait for 100...
Now am feelin a bit guilty n concerned, but one of my friends who's also a mechanic assured me that short bursts are ok once in a while. Just wanted to know about the running in experiences of others on the board and if you guys have any tips to make the running in period a bit less frustrating/shorter.
