what i gather is everyone is wary of opening the engine or using high comp.pistons or heads.so the best way of better performence is rejetting the main jet and start by using a 5 num.bigger jet.and go on increasing the jet size by 5 till u get a good setup.if for eg. u go from 115 to 130+ than u need a more unrestricted air filter.also any thing more than 135 u need a bigger pilot jet as well,also turn in air screw a bit to make mixture bit richer and than take it out based on ur feeling of power.gettin'jets is not easy but in delhi u can.this is for better mid and top end.combine this with a front sporcket one teeth smaller for low end.i feel this is most economic and easily done tuning.

well the jets will be of a diff.bikes but will work well.on RD's we use rx 135 jets.that's ok.these r basic mods which can be done by u at home.just need to learn how to open carb.imagine me opening 2 carbs and in end spending time syncronizing them together.or a 350 won't perform.jets can be bought from spare shops.u need info on which bike uses what size main jet.mech.i doubt even know how jets work.ask all the members to post main jet sizes of different bikes.

YES I AGREE ITS NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS ON THE 2 STROKES BUT IT DEFINITELY ENHANCES THE LOOKS OF THE BIKE !!

I KNOW THE EXTRA WEIGHT IS NOT GOOD
ONE OF MY FRIEND GOT AN EXTRA SILENCER ON HIS CBZ AND HAD BIG TIME PROBLEMS
HIS BIKE WOULD WOBBLE ABOVE 60 AND HE HAD TO GET RID OF THE EXTRA WEIGHT IMMEDIATELY !!

yeah moksh... u know i got the silencer put upon the left side and couldn't ride above 60 kmph.. had to take it out man. hey lets check out this jet and stuff sounds intresting.

jetting is most common performence mod anywhere in the world.but pardon ur mechs. as they can't spell their names right forget talking bout jets.please ask ur mech to explain to u diff.in 2st and 4st engines and u'll get some nice answers LOL.jetting is not a big deal.guys know ur engine and carbs.nothing major in them.

sorry can't as i don't own a pulser.see your owner's manual should explain about the carb.or once u can go to a mech ask him to explain bout the carb and then u can work on.there is nothing to go wrong as u r just putting jets and setting the air screw.but if u change the filter to a free flow one u need to be careful that the filter should not let dust pass through it.just open the carb once or make the mech open it once in ur presence and ask bout every part.
