I am really intersted in the FZ Speedo in CBZ-X part!
If you can be bit eloborative on that would be helpfull only if you wish to tell the trade secrets.
How accurate is the speedo, and how was it calibrated to Xtreme 18" wheels? How is the RPM thing now?
I am not going to do this mod, but just wanted to know.2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2013 - KTM 390 Duke
2017 - Yamaha FZ25

Sparkplugs don't cause any appreciable difference.About the kn loads of discussions have been done.Originally posted by hunkking View Postyeah .. want those too !

About the exhaust,a well tuned one should give some appreciable difference otherwise its all pencil and no lead.
If you need serious performance, the engine needs to be modified. For the xtreme,i recall joel mentioning in the forums about some bolt on modded block and piston. Why don't you pm him.Socha Toh Locha.

yes i gt the underseat built 6 months back...
technical difficulties .. none just guiding it all the way till the end was difficult
parts required .. new swingarm ( uni prefferably)
cost .. 4 k including all except the swingarm.. its one of those silent kinds unlike the noisy one which i had got built on my frnds pulsar ..
waiting for the cbr..

yes the meter pinon ws attached at the very same place where the cbz's meter pinion was along with the sensor jack wiring was bought the bottom part was cut and attached nt gt much idea about electrical wirings so cant provide details.. it was never caliberated fr xtremes 18" wheels .. just that when i observed speeds with other friends bikes travelling together there was a diffence of 3 kmph.. so however i was fine with it ..
i am not speending on the cdi as fr now to make the rpm meter run (student budget u see) will invest in that later on..waiting for the cbr..

those handlebars aren't safe yea.
i replaced the two 'bars'... custom made solid bars. it's rock solid now.
personally... i wouldn't change the back of the bike. I'd change the tank.Originally posted by hunkking View Postdude i did not do it myself .. i hired a mechanic .. welder to be specific.. ill post the pics of where all the clamps have been welded..
the CBZ Xtreme tank doesn't go well with the R15 fairing... because of the sharp recesses... the Unicorn tank does tho... blends right in.
i considered it while i was modding my bike. stuck with the pulsar tank.
where are u from?
bombay?.
