engine modification in chandigarh ??

nothing of that sort is here dude .. i am in contact with the only performance products dealer here i.e performance motor sports phase 7 .. but still most of the products are for cars ..

yeah people modify their karizma's here

20kg body kits on zma
KNN stickers all over but they dont know what is KnN
rear tire sizes like.. 150...170..190
zma fairings on pulsars , unicorns etc etc

90% of the people have a passion for show off .. not for bikes

and moreover all the helmetless yellow karizma/bullet posers take away all the chicks

Right Said about modifiction and all.
I have seen people sporting that famous sticker..TWIN CAM 16 VALVES on Scooters(chetak, LML) and even on a Moped.
I am sure am not going to live to the day when we will have 16 Valves in BIKES.

Modification in and aaround Punjab area is more a cosmetic one...u ask them about k&N/ Uni..they give u face as if u have INSULTED their Great Grand Father. U ask About Upjetting they say...NOT POSSIBLE...U ask abt Sprocketting and they will laugh on u.

all they know is ...Flashy Paint work, Fake Body Kits, HID and HORNS and not to forget...BIGGER/BROADER tyres.... Seen off road tyres on City Bikes but thn...PUNJABIYAN DI SHAAN VAKHRI.....

but yes, u MAY definatley find one smart Mech who is a TECHIE and who know how it works if it works....
but finding HIM would be a bit easier then Finding a Needle in a heap of Straw!...All the best!

I have looked far and wide on the net for starting on motorcycle technology from scratch, but basics get limited to how-things-work website and a Honda Common Service Manual. This is an good opportunity to dedicate a thread to serious technology and performance modding discussion.
