Wrong.
I happened to have some free time today and opened up a website, and what do I see?
“Yamaha are offering a free component upgrade for the R15”
And why? Because the goddamn knuckleheads who bought them were too dimwitted for their own good. That's why. Pardon the harsh language, but I see no other way of putting my point across. Turns out that a good many of them improvised and used the gap between the fairing panels as a holder of sorts for their cleaning cloths and such. Now excuse me for a minute as I go bash my head on a wall. Chances are, I'd still be left with more grey cells that those esteemed gentlemen seem to be sporting.
For I cannot POSSIBLY think of ONE good reason why one would want to block the free flow of air into a piping hot engine block. Or better yet, wedge a combustible substance in the precious little gap between the said source of heat and your family jewels. In simpler words, “WHAT WERE YOU THINKING”? The article mentioned that this lead to several cases of overheating (duh) and worse yet, fires (double duh) that lead to total losses. While I feel terribly sorry for the bikes (read: Not BikeRs), they probably are happier in the heavens, free from the shackles of their moronic masters. They didn't deserve that kind of torture.
I had a dream. A dream that India would be up there with the rest of the world when it comes to motorcycling. But alas, I'm being proven wrong in the worst possible way. The bikes may come. Hell, the ROADS may come; but the bikers will never arrive. The thousands of xBhpians sadly, do not represent even a fraction of the biking population out there. A demographic that sadly contains an unusually high percentage of people with minimal cerebral activity. If this is what they can do to an R15, I am horrified to think what the Ninja 250s and the rest would be subject to (Let's leave the SBKs alone. A majority (not ALL, mind you) of the prospective SBK buyers do their homework before they take the leap). Because money and common sense have this uncanny nature of being inversely proportionate to each other.
Let me stress that this is not a verbal assault towards any xBhpian. If you found your way here, you probably know the right way to take care of your ride. Therefore, I ask you this: If you know any of these morons, please, spend an hour of your life educating them. Who knows, your acts could save a bike from a cruel and unusual death. Now isn't that worth the effort?
Rant mode off. Synn out.

Sure will try to educate the educated morons even though i have failed doing the same
