  • Help neeed (porting & port chambering)

Guys my rx135 4s is going for her last stage piston changing and reboring and that is forth last (1mm poston). I found Vijaydeep computerized reboring in J.C road. They are charging 85 rs for it.

As i mentioned it will be my last and final reboring over my bore i am thinking about doing even porting along with that, for porting they are charging 250 rs. and for port chambering its 25/75 rs (i forgot actually)

My question is whats the differences between porting and port chambering? if i go for porting is it compulsory to change the carb. or i can use my stock one only. Help needed regarding it from you guys

I have heard people talking about Vijaydeep at JC Road does a quality rebore job and many of our members have done from them. The pricing seem to be reasonable.

I leave it to members who had already done mods on their bikes to give you directions.

i think what you are refering to is port chamfering
which is smoothening of port edges thus lesser ring wear and tear

Because of the last reboring i want to increase the size of the port not wide open okay ? . is that called port chamfering ?
my friend told me that it will help to increase little more power but the mileage will drop.

widening your ports is generally known as porting. However it doesnt necessarily mean widening it can be altering the shape of the port or adding another port etc..
after either reboring or porting there can be some metal projecting or protruding from the cylinder to smoothen these things port chamfering is done

thanks buddy. i already done my reboring, i didnt do any porting or port chamfering.
I read some bad reviews about chamfering work from vijaydeep so canceled my plans.

                            Everything running smooth
Got it done all the works and the engine and piston working well so far, but the piston rings are making a little noise, my mechanic told me that will reduce as i ride the bike. is it normal to have this ring noises ?
right now I am mixing 2T oil with the petrol, that was mechanics suggestion(. is it really necessary while the 2T oil is coming properly to the engine? Because of that the smoke from exhaust is increased.
                            advice need from experts.

The sound you are getting will be decreased as soon as carbon deposits over piston and the ring grooves.
Bikes don't leak oil, They mark their territory.
