Don't mess with the Classic. But if you are that much adamant, search for more modification threads here.

would advise not to play around with the gear box. change the rear sprocket to a 40 for better top speed or relaxed ride and a 44 rear for better acceleration.the stock size is 42.

Thanks Guys.@steveburnside2001 will be changing to 44 rear sproket soon.I was thinking of 5th gear ratio change just to maintain original top speed/mileage after rear sproket change.

Still awaiting replies from experienced members.

          Cheers!

Is it a classic ?? i guess it had 44t rear sprocket.
If u want to maintain or cruze at high speed then reduce 2 teeth's thats enough.
First check what sprocket u have now.
Its good if u change the whole chain sprocket setup !!
