  • Pulsar Classic 150 Alloys (also a Pune related Question)

after doing tons of research online, visiting dealers & workshops and even talking to people in bajaj, i have come to the final conclusion that

one cannot fit authentic bajaj alloys (4 type or 6 type) to the classic pulsar on account of the classic pulsar swingarm being almost 1 inch less in width than the assembly of the wheel assembly.

The only way one can authentic pulsar alloys onto a classic pulsar is to change the swingarm to the new much wider and rectangular swingarm.

I want alloys on my classic pulsar, i dont like the current spoke wheels, I dont want to change the swingarm , cant put on original bajaj ones, so have no other choice but to go for AFTERMARKET ALLOYS

One shop owner was very very sure that he could get aftermarket alloys that would fit the classic pulsar swingarm and would require NO MODIFICATION.

Can anyone else confirm that. Do the make alloys that will fit the classic swingarm pulsar 150. brand name? type?

I am in PUNE. Have been to Nana Peth bike shops area only once.

Is there any specific shop i should visit? Any other recommendations

    Thanks in advance

Barging this thread cuz i have a similar query.

Even i'm on the look out to change the rims of my pulsar 150 classic.
I was thinking of fitting 17" authentic bajaj alloys. I currently have michelin m45(4.00 18) rear tyre. Don't mind modifying the swing arm if a 120/80 is recommendable.
(BTW, whats the max tyre size that can fit on a p150 classic?)

The reason for this change is coz i have a persistent problem with my rear tyre. It seems to wobble & no matter what i do, can't fix it. Have got the tyre checked, rims checked & corrected, but no luck. So thinking of getting rid of it all together.

Do you guys know anyone in pune who i could show this problem & can give me a definite answer/solution?

Also, if changing the tyre/rim is the solution, who would be the best person to go to for this?

Hey dude, I suggest you visit any of the Darshan Tyres shops in Pune. They are at Kothrud (opp. Karishma complex), FC road (next to Koyla) & I guess one has recently opened in Hadapsar as well.
Regarding changes to the swingarm, consult Amjad from Bike Gurus in Kothrud. His contact no. is 9823102662. Tell him Manas gave you his no.
