  • Pulsar 220 DTSi Speedo poblems

    Hi Guys,

I have been following xBHP for years now, but is the first time im posting a query.

I have a p220 DTSi (Feb 10), done 3500 kms in city riding conditions.
I have recently developed a problem with my speedo (apart from the regular problems of fairing vibes, chain noise etc, that i have solved quote a bit reading xBHP).

The problem is that i have all the displays, but the speedo doesnt show any reading. It just stays at 0. In between the driving, sometimes it comes on, shows 199, 67 etc etc.. and then goes back to zero. Due to this, even my trip meter is not showing increase in distance covered.

Have any of you guys come across similar problems and have found out the solutions?

    Cheers
    Abhi

get it changed under warranty dude.. i have never had any such issues on my 1st lot P220 (august '09)
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

The cable is faulty. Same thing happened with me when the bike was new. Get the cable changed from the service centre asap.
