  • Buying a kawasaki ninja 250R in Delhi/NCR

    Hi,

I am considering buying the Ninja 250R. I wanted some advice from people who are already owning it or are knowledgeable about it:
    1. Is it safe leave the bike in open parking in NCR? Any risk of part thefts?
    2. Running in instruction?
    3. Which fuel to go in for?
    4. Where to get it serviced

    Any other tips

    Cheers,
    Asif

    1. Is it safe leave the bike in open parking in NCR? Any risk of part thefts? There is no place safer than inside your bedroom, on a serious note - dont keep the bike out open on the road or unattended in shady areas. Thats the mantra which is followed all across the world and is the same here.
    2. Running in instruction? - given in the manual, look it up when you buy.
    3. Which fuel to go in for? - i have put in all kinds of fuels, but from bigger petrol pumps, go for 91+ always if possible.
    4. Where to get it serviced - theres one in Noida and one in Keethi Nagar, West Delhi. DOnt have the exact addresses.

Any other tips - youll enjoy it most in the mountains, i have seen some people complaint its got low torque and power. Just learn to stay in the powerband (4k + rpm and you will be more than happy)

        1. Is it safe leave the bike in open parking in NCR? Any risk of part thefts?

        - Risk of theft cant say, but yes a lot of people will come and probe and prod the hell out of it, so better to keep it in areas where its away from prying eyes and fingers.
        1. Running in instruction?

        - Follow the owners manual, and the ownership thread.

        1. Which fuel to go in for?

        - Extra premium or power.
        1. Where to get it serviced

        - Bajaj probiking, they have good trained professionals.
