  • spongy brakes

i have a karizma dec 06 and recently rebuild the master cylinder myself. after filling the brake fluid i am experiencing spongy brakes .i tried to bleed air out of the system but no avail. i have also noticed that the brake line is not routed properly.could this be a cause for the sponginess?. i also have notice small cracks on my brake line, can i change it to steel braided ones from the pulsar 220?
