rpm meter error

  • rpm meter error

    guys,
    my rpm meter has error. it showing below zero when it in stop condition.
    so when we are in start and on any rpm it is more then its showing.
    so how to set again needle on zero any idea?

      which bike do you have???? plz tell us !
      1. it may be because of bad battery or a discharged battery. try to check your battery.
      2. your carburetor must not be properly tuned; check that out as well.

        Sometime back, My Friend's RTR 160's RPM meter behaved the same way, the needle travelled a little backwards.. and on starting it would behave normally, the SVC guy told that there was a problem in the meter itself...

        which bike do u have? a pulsar? as in ur display picture?
        Every BIKE has a lot of speed in it. The trick is getting the speed out of it.

          If its a pulsar the needle can be removed and re-fit anytime!

            If ur bike is still on warrenty, then go and ask the SVC guys to set it right, else ask them to replace the meter under warrenty!

              thanks for suggestions. i have pulsar 200cc dtsi and its battery is great.
              svc says it can't be repaired.
