Happy to find a like mind, Please post some picture and also some other details are needed about the make year, Kms done etc..

Because for a longer time RAJDOOT was making its key a universal one, any key suits any bike, if the bike you saw was such a type then just a long nail can do the job of a key (except for switching on the lights).

First of all take it to a service station wash it well with some soap oil (Service station people regularly use).

Check for fuel lines, if possible can better clean the carburettor, Air filter, Spark Plug and the main thing the gear box oil.

If you are really interested in DIY things then spend a half day on it and you will start loving the ride....

      Please update your progress.

Friend, you are really interested so do things step by step.

          1) Put the bike on center stand in a place where you can work freely with out any disturbance.

          2) Roughly clean the bike fully with a little bit of kerosene or diesel mixed with water. Hot wire if there is no any go.

          3) Try rotating the wheels in air if not free add some oil to the axles (just for the time being)

          4) If you have a foot pump inflate both the tyres

          5) Fill fuel with 25 ml 2T oil/ litre petrol, Drain off the gearbox oil and refill with 20w-40 oil.

          6) Remove the Spark plug and slowly move the kicker (to confirm the piston is not ceased). If it worked fine..

          7) Clean the spark plug insert it in the adopted just place it on the engine head and again kick (as you normally start the bike), If you can see the spark in the plug then electrical are working fine, fit the plug & Adopter.

Now you are ready to go....

          8) START THE BIKE and tune the throttle and leave the bike idling for some 10 mins

          9) Slowly engage clutch and put on first gear and release the clutch slowly (with bike on stand) If worked fine then try the rest two gears .

If every thing worked well then go for a trial ride.

          Keep updating for any mishap.

Some photos to know your bike better.

wow you are lucky as you are able to do something that some of us can dream of. I would say nice find. Sure would like to see some pics.

reminds me of my Jawa - which I picked up from a friends uncle, it had no air nothing, pushed it for a couple of kms, got air filled in the tyres and then towed it for like 6kms and got it to my mechanic and all it needed was a wash, oil change, carb and plug cleaning. Hardly half a days work and it was on the road.

Waiting to hear how things proceed with your Rajdoot. Must say - those days they made things to last for a long time.
