      Chain cover

You'll probably have to see if the old Pulsar cover fits but I doubt it. As there is no full chain cover mfg by Bajaj for 220, it'll be a aftermarket fitment, which in turn means it will definitely not be free.
If you take good care of the chain by lubricating it every 500 kms, it should not give any problems. Buy some chain lube from 3M or Motul & your chain should be very happy to live long...

From my experience the chain cover itself makes more noise even when it is perfectly installed. This was the main reason why I got rid of it on my P180UG3 in just 2 weeks of purchase.

I haven't had that kind of experience in my 40000+ kms of riding !! If taken appropriate care by lubricating it & checking for slackness, I don't think it makes any weird noises !!
