IMO, its possible. Go through the thread http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tallation.html & you'll get a fair idea as what needs to be done.
Another suggestion is, if you're able to fit a 55/60, then you can opt for Philips H4 which will be a direct fit. The brightness will be excellent & way better than ordinary 55/60 & requires not much of mods.
For HID you need to fit in additional battery & need space. Are you running with or without oil tank? Are you running with stock air filter? Where're you planning to plonk the large battery?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

^ I would suggest to take a look at the thread once before you decide which way to go.
I'm running 90/100 lighting kit with 60/55w headlight. To be frank, this is far better than stock and with good spread of low and high beam.
One more thing is that I have fitted the DCM Toyota doom which has the provision for the parking light just like the stock. Having said that, the reflector is far superior.
This would not alter any change to stock look however, would make the difference when switched on the light
Where did I get the 90/100 lighting kit (magnet, coil plate, R&R)? rddream.com
Any other modification? Nothing required.
Any suggestion for bulb? Philips Premium 60/55w, or Osram Night breaker.

Could you please elaborate why we need to run the pump when we do pre-mix? As far as I know, be it pre-mix or pump, both does the same job. Why do you say we should not run pre-mix for a long term. Throw some light on the dumb 2stroker like me.Originally posted by RX88 View Posti think u should also be running the pump its good for the enigine, premix is also recomended but not continous.

We need to experiment H4 on your head lights SriOriginally posted by SriramEfunds View PostI'm running 90/100 lighting kit with 60/55w headlight. To be frank, this is far better than stock and with good spread of low and high beam.
. I'll buy the H4 & test it on your headlight before fitting the 90/100 on mine. Can I open up your Rx
to see the sockets of 90/100 to compare with mine during this weekend meet?
Philips H4 used in cars, gives a great output I heard.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostAny suggestion for bulb? Philips Premium 60/55w, or Osram Night breaker.
@RX88 - 1:30??? From my experience, 30ml leaves unburned oil deposits all around the plugs. Any specific reason why 30ml?Last edited by aargee; 10-04-2010, 09:22 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

You don't have to buy oneOriginally posted by aargee View PostWe need to experiment H4 on your head lights Sri

. I'm already running on H4 with p43-t socket. One bad thing about fixing up H4 is that the existing stock rear cup (black) would not have sufficient space to accommodate the bulb holder which I got it separately from Auto shop GP Road then. You might want to take a close look at it when we meet.
Point to note: Stock RX headlight assembly won't be compatible for H4 bulb socket. You will need to go for the truck's doom to get it plonked.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

I have a 23 year old KB100 in good nick.I had always found that premix gives me peace of mind ,though the silencer will be weeping oil.Over a period of time I had found the oil pump to be unreliable in measuring out correct oil output. Typically in city the Exhaust will be dripping with oil and when I go on long trips at speeds of 80Km or above the bike will seize.I used to add another 20ml oil/litre petrol in the tank to avoid this.I have had numerous seizes and about 3 bores and piston set changed purely due to this.I check my oil pump out put as per Service Manual and always set it for slightly higher output.Originally posted by RX88 View Post
its no harm running premix i also do run my bike on premix(1:30) but not regularly i prefer it on long drives, and my bikes oil pump is working good & fine.
There is an added advantage with pre-mix. The Petrol tank will not get rust easily.
