Best Alternative to 2T Oil?
Hi there, my name is reza from Dhaka, Bangladesh. As Bangladesh is surrounded by India almost all of the motorcycles here are Indian made. My problem is finding 2T oil in Dhaka for my Yamaha RX 100 (1996 model). As most of the byks are of 4 stroke it is near impossible to find anyone selling 2t oil here. I only was able to find a brand named Fuchs Titanmix 2T and availability of which is also unpredictable

Interesting to see there is RX100 owner in Bangladesh. As far as I know there are no alternatives and you cannot run your bike without 2T. Even thinking of mixing other than 2T is disastrous.
Do you have Shell petrol bunk in your city? You can request the supervisor to arrange for a carton of 2T, if needed to import from India.
If you find castrol selling oils for 4T, then you could try and get some one in the Manager level to procure 2T oil for you.
Few things, will need negotiation, followups and offcourse good rapport to have things come your way.

Thank you for your quick response. 4t oil from Castrol is found here, i can try to talk to the dealer if he can manage me some cartoons. Running a 2 stroker in top condition is really difficult here, Even decent engine oil is hard to find for RX. I'm using Havoline 4T 20w50 for gearbox. i used to use this on my splendor. I'm really in a vary confused state now what to use for my byke in this situation. Yes we have several variants of Yamaha RX running in our country like RX 135 though i only have seen one, Most of the RX 100 can be seen here with label Yamaha/Escorts RX 100 and there is Yamaha RXS with YEIS, 115 cc made in Japan around 15 bhp
. I owned one only for a week than i had to sell it
. It was the best of byks i have ever had. sold it, cause later i realized it was a stolen one as i was too exited to check for the details
! Learned some lesson there and afterwords bought my RX 100. xBHP is a good news for me, i almost have read all the threads on RX and realized my byk can do more! Thanks again.

Founded 2T detail
the only brand i was able to find here is named FUCHS titan mix and on the bottle i could only find very few technical info which is "2T Motor Oil API-TC JASO-FB". Is it safe to use this oil in RX 100?Destination is an excuse for my being on the road!

JASO FB is quite older technology, but very much suitable for Rx. The current standards is beyond FD or something I guess; I used to buy Jaso FC certified about half a decade ago
