Toyota or Honda...I need to setup the dynamo somehow. That's the most crucial part.

i am using osram only (o.e bulb for bajaj eliminator) , i do'nt think it is a premium bulb but says made in germany . i think the magneto is giving enough and more to lit the bulb to the fullest

Does removing the rubber cap on air filter increase power(slightly) Reply to Thread

In the 1st place , you should be having the rated wattage bulb connected. (If the rated wattage is 12V,35W , then connecting a higher wattage bulb will give you less light ! )You can change the reflector for a bigger one for a better light .

Please contact Shrikant Chavan from Pune
He has his workshop named Shriyash motors near Katraj Gujarwadi

          His contact number is 9850050074
          He will guide you
I also changed from 35/35 to 60/55 watts bulb in my Bike Victor GLX 3 years back.

Also one thing you can do
take the pulsar headlight round dome and the headlight rim(both will cost around 150)
Take Maruti Omni round headlight reflector from Lumax 165 rupees but please buy it from Maruti Sai service centers/Regal automobiles near Alka talkies Laxmi road only.Dont buy it from anywhere else. There are lot of fake reflectors.
Take Maruti Omni halogen bulb of 60/55 watts 90 rupees Philips/Osram/Halonix from Sai Service
Get a Bajaj Super FE/any Bajaj scooter regulator around 80 rupees you can get it from any scooter shop/Bosch authorised dealer
If you dont get the regulator then just contact me at pankajps30@gmail
I have one spare regulator of Bajaj super FE and since you are in pune,i can give it to you whenever needed
You can get Pulsar dome+headlight rim and headlight clips and Bajaj scooter regulator from Bajaj spares and Service outlet/ Bombay Motors and scooters at Nana Peth(He has good quality)

Now in the pulsar headlight rim,put Omni reflector and fix it with the clips
          Put the bulb

Basically Omni headlight reflector is also very good
My bike supports 60/55 watts bulb but still I delibrately put a Halonix bulb of 45/40 watts of Bullet
          Still I get good beam.
You will not believe but with 60/55 watts bulb,I can see around 500 meters clearly in upper beam

Then contact Shrikant Chavan and he will do the necesscary modification.
Shrikant will charge around 600 to 800
He will bypass your bike's regulator by a Bajaj Super regulator of around 60 watts.
Your bike's headlight will run on this regulator hence it will glow till 60 watts
Also you can use LML scooter regulator of 96 watts and you can run a 100/90 watts bulb but your battery must be 5 AH atleast in this case.
I am also having LML scooter regulator for 400 rupees so if you need, please email me.

So for 60/55 watts you will still get your work done within 1500 and 400 more for 100/90 watts bulb whereas you are ready to spend 3000

          Thanks and Regards
          Pankaj
