1st service not yet done. My problem is that bike stops as if empty of fuel.,then it runs fine in reserve. The most dissapointing part is that, after filling 1 litre petrol it stops as empty tank within about 20 kms. then i hav to run on reserve.... Help me out guys....

Hay Spykid, congratulations for your new Hunk. I am also having one. In standard riding condition, I get approximately 40kmpl, though my tuning is set to the rich mixture for good performence. As you have done almost 550km, you are too close to your first service. While getting the service done, ask the mec to do a fresh tuning also check the spark plug color reading. Don't worry with your HH Hunk. Its a very simple machine. Happy revving.Originally posted by spykid2222 View PostI own a HH Hunk ..It's about 1 month old..550 kms run...

Mileage is a very relative in a carbureted bike, it depends on many factors such as:-
1) Average Throttle Postion
2) Gear Shifting Habbits
3) (Most Important) The Air Fuel Mixture set by the Mechanic
4) Tyre Pressures
You cannot expect a pinpoint accurate mileage reading on a carburated bike, all you can do is keep the above factors in as much harmony as possible, and your bike will give you a satisfactory performance.
Congrats on the bike and ride safe!
