I am having a strange problem with my Shogun. At about 6000 rpm - 7000 rpm, it seems like it is having an engine seizure while it is not. For the first to second gear it is 4500 rpm.
The piston feels like getting jammed and not moving but at lower rpms it is okay. Opened up the cylinder, not a single line on the piston or a sign of seizure. No minor seizures as well.
Facts:
Bike is running rich.
New block/piston/rings. All OEM. Done 3500 kms.
2T Pump is fine. 2T level is normal. Not lean/not rich.
New carb.
New silencer.
My mech says, to replace to the CDI and check. Please provide some expert opinions, what all should I check.
