  • HID on P200

    Hey guys!

I just wanted to know if anyone has managed to install a HID kit on their Pulsar 200 here in Chennai. Is it possible?
Which is the best brand to go for at nominal rates?

I also wanted to know if it's safe to go ahead and fit a remote lock for the bike. Once again, I need approximate cost for the best but nominal brand in the marker.

I'd be glad if anyone could mention a place in chennai where I can get it done.

We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!

@romeo:Its something which can give you so much light at night

@insidious:I got my HID for P200 from ebay. Was shipped from shanghai for 6k for 2 peices of bixenonHaving fitted a H4 I recommend you try for H3 as a spot beam incase your bike is parked at safe location where there are less chances of spot beam being stolen

HIDs rock.BTW there is a significat amount of battery drain at times incase you are still running the stock battery if you have your headlamps on for more than 8 hours.Make sure the oil hologen coil is completely removed/shorted and check with multimeter if you have 13-14 volts with engine running after HID fitment.

PM me incase you want more gyan
