Hi,
I want to transport my bike to Mumbai and would be using it for a year and a half and then move back to Delhi. I need guidance for the same.

Should I get an NOC? (I have been told that I can drive in any state for an year without an NOC plus it will strike-off my bike from Delhi rto records so my dad feels I should just take the bike without noc and just pay the octroi.) will this be fine?

How should I get it transported? Rail or road transport?

If via road where would the octroi be paid?

Driving till Mumbai is not an option
