  • HELP on FZ 16

A BIG hello to all passionate bikers I was introduced to two wheeled world 4 years back and boy o boy what a experience it has been. I am stuck here with a problem which I am facing with my 2 year old FZ16 (a.k.a Battle Cat ) which has clocked 12k km. The problem is I have recently noticed a ticking sound which comes from the engine while riding and also for a while when I shut the engine.

Any help on this my friends would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance and "Let the Good Time Roll".

The ticking sound from the engine after it's turned OFF is just the cooling down process ... nothing to worry about . If it's there while running , then i'm not sure as to what the problem is .
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

Check engine valve tappet clearance and adjust if needed.Your A.S.S. will be able to do this correctly.

              HELP on FZ16

Hey Guys Thanks for all the inputs I greatly appreciate it I will get the valve clearance adjustment done at the service center. But once I get this done will it affect mileage in any way also are there Iridium spark plugs available for FZ16 because there is not one listed on the NGK website.

              Thanks again.
