    Electric Start Problem In Pulsar 180

    I own a Pulsar 180 [UG3]. Off late my electric start is not functionng properly. i thought maybe the battery is weak. I changed my battery. But My self start is still not working But i hear click whenever i try to push the self start button. Is there any solution to this..! Should i replace my relay switch or should i buy a new unit as a whole...?

      Maybe that your self is jammed. The problem happened with my 220, later self was repaired.

                Pulsar doesn't start....

                Hi,
                i have Pulsar 180 UG4 1Year old only
                since 2 months my Pulsar giving me a problem of self start
                IT DOESN'T START ON NEUTRAL GEAR
                But
                IT STARTS WITH BY PRESSING CLUTCH.. Without any problem....

                now the problem is i told this problem to service center but they did nothing..
                Its a big problem on traffic signal it doesn. Start.. And cause traffic jam by me
                On neutral gear if i start my bike it sounds like Tic.... For halfsecond no engine start sound or nothing just only tic sound
                And it takes minimum of 8 times try to start on neutral gear....
                plz guys help me..
                its a big problem coz theres no kick in 180 as we all know this.

                    some times,my 3 month old unicorn thinks its in gear even while bike is in neutral as indicated by green led & when i press self button , i get a clik sound resembling computer mouse sound, and no response. i did get rattled, but for my kick start option!
                    but i did not use kicker.. i recalled i had not started bike for 2 days & done only very few kms in previous week.
                    hence i thought, perhaps battery was weak & also perhaps there could be some confution as to bike being in neutral or gear, even though green LED was on!
                    therefore, i merely touched the gear pedal with my toe,used clutch & firmly pressed self, engine came to life. not always, but i have noticed,
                    whenever, i have not used bike adequately for battery to be charged sufficiently, some unusual kinks develop!

                      Thanks for your help guys this problem was fix the fault was

                      battery was over filled by the service center idiots which cause over flow each and every time i use my bike which cause Low charge in my battery and i use the following method written above...

                      press the self star button in 1st gear then press the clutch after pressing the self button and there's also my self relay jammed which is fixed by doing this :-)
