  • Problem with Tail lamp

    HI All,

In my bike, the tail-lamp glows when the breaks are applied, however it does not glow when the headlights are on. Due to this driving in night is a problem.

What could be the problem? Would it be a fused bulb that I can change myself? Or would it be some wiring issues which I need to show to the mechanic only?

    Regards,
    Anand

      Hi Anand

your problem seems to be a simple one. There are two filaments in any modern tail light bulb. One glows when headlight is switched on(5W); other glows when you apply brakes (21W).

Your 5W filament would have been damaged. This happens all the time to my bikes.

      Just change the bulb...
