You might have to get the gear & clutch assembly checked. Also shift to a better engine oil. I don't know what is the recommended grade for your bike but Motul is the best oil.

Gear shifts on the bike are highly influenced by other factors. It need not always be the gear box, and its a common error. Practically the gear box is shut, sealed and solid and is a very sturdy component to blame for poor shifting issues. I faced shifting issues on my 220. they were clunky, yet accurate. A little chain slack adjustment, good lubrication and things were all fine.

          Hi

You could also check the clutch adjustment as loose or wornout clutch too can cause problems with the gear changes.

I have checked the chain, its slack is as recomended. And its well lubricated too.The chain sprocket was changed last month. The bigger sprockets' all teeth are intact, can't say about the smaller sprocket,as I could not open the front sprocket cover.
