  • Performance tuning on Honda Unicorn Dazzler

Guys,I have completed around 2.5k kms on my Dazzler. But I always had this problem of very less pick up in 1- 3 gears .....often I have to shift to 1st gear if I am driving at less than 15 KMPH, problem worsens when I have a pillion and riding on steep roads.... I told the problem to service guys but they didn't do much ....

SO plz plz help me bring some power into my dazzler !!!

Is the bike running too hot? too much heat coming from the engine? have you gotten the first service done? Is the chain too tight? ( especially after a pillion sits on the bike?? )

My offerings to the gods of speed -

      - KTM Duke 200
      - Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

In one word your issue is initial pickup.

Dazzler is not the one that struggles initial pickup.

It may be due to wrong carburettor tuning.

When you changed oil last or how many kms done after last oil change?

Any bike will struggle a bit with a pillion rider.

By the way whats your weight ?

I have done 2 services .. last one was done 35 days back or 700 Kms after the service..
Oil was changed at the second service. My weight is 72 is fine I guess.
Even I suspect it is wrond carburettor tuning... what should I tell the service guy to do? Also if any one can suggest a good servicing center in hyderabad for performance tuning
