    Hi edferns!

Hey man, about the conversion from the 350cc to a 500cc Bullet, both look almost the same, & unless a person is acquainted with Bullets, they cannot tell whether it's 350cc or 500cc. As for the engine number, you could do what Deep has suggested.

    Take care.

    Happy thumping,

i m second on that, and it is so easy to punch engine number on crank case just 100-200 rs game in MEERUT(U.P)

i hav seen many maruti's with change cylinder block with previous engine number punched just in 100-200 rs.

Govt. will not allow engine swaps to be documented in the RC books. Infact, now it's's completely illegal.

In the olden times, India had loads of petrol Ambassadors with Isuzu/Matador diesel engines.

          shine's Engine swap with uni...

          Hello everyone..
This is my first post here on Xbhp..
I had been going through most of the topics and it seems that members of Xbhp community do work hard to solve problems and help each other..
          so coming to the point,
i am having a honda shine, i've installed K&N air filter and upjetted the carb..
still i am not satisfied with the performance..
i saw the engine of uni similar to the one of honda shine..
finally decided to swap the engine with uni's..
so guys, is this really possible? and if yes, what are the list of more alternations to go through for a swap..

please don't suggest me to buy a Unicorn instead

          thanks..

Re: HELP: Engine swap procedures with paperwork etc

                hello all experts,
i am really interested in designing a bike with the following features by taking the best of all worlds. i love the engine of the KTM Duke 200 and the Pulsar 200 NS. however, these 2 bikes aren't good for commuting and also cause heavy inconvenience to the pillion rider. on those terms, the body/chassis or a P150/P180 or a Yamaha FZ is quite comfortable. my wife agrees with this and she has felt really comfortable on the long rides when done with these bikes. but, the engine on P150/P180 or a FZ doesn't make me happy. hence, i was planning to plonk engine of a Duke 200 or a 200NS on a P150/P180 or a Yamaha FZ. kindly provide your valuable suggestions. i know that this bike wouldn't be street legal and there is no way RTO would agree to get this registered. but, i still want to make this bike for my own.
