    [Photo Feature]: cbTwister Key Problem

    When I lock the handle of my bike, Twister, it works fine...but when I try to unlock it, it jams... its takes 5/6 minutes for me to unlock it.

    I have put oil also, but still same problem...

    In early days, it didnt show this problem. But nowadays,it is becomming more harder...I am tensed with it...I dont know how the lock works...so may be my handling may not be right...

    So seeking your suggestions guys..

      It might be due to prolonged rust & you need to remove them; Use WD40 or Zorrik & spray on the entire lock & within & clean up the rust.

          yap, thats the reason may be. Prolonged usage of a single key may lead lead to damage the threads of the key and may not work properly. I use my both keys alternatively as advised by Satyajitrc - another xbhpian.

            As per me you may not doing it in right way. If it get gammed really then it would get harder to lock also, neither at the time of unlocking.

            Go through the Manual book instruction how to lock and unlock the handlebar. Usually it require to press and turn the key anti clock wise from the key off position to lock it, and to unlock just to turn clock wise towards on position. But some time due to miss placing the handle bar require a little sideways movement during lock and unlock.
            Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...
