@Ramesh - why is he not happy? What're the issues? Could you ask & list them one by one pls? When did your friend purchase his R15?

PS - Has you friend heard the old Panchathantra story of Crane inviting a Mongoose to kill a Snake? That's more apt situation here

@Ramesh - All the mechs are good only for the first time, after that, they only see you as a cash cow.

All the service centres see your vehicle as "yet another" machine (machine). They only know to do a routine job. If one nut is on the wrong side, they'll never touch the entire right side lol

IMO, A.S.S is always better than independent garage because, the independent ones are not accountable; atleast you can escalate, write in forum when A.S.S goofs on something.

@ argee - i agree with you 100%, I have experienced the same with my lightning, first time I was amazed with Seshan's work, the details he went in and stuff, after that I see him focussed more on money, even after I mentioning about some changes, he has not done it to my satisfaction. but charged me as much as possible.
For changing my primary sprocket to 19 teeth, change of chain, fixing disc brake, changing clutch plates I had spent 25k now....

                WHHAAAAAAT????????

I guess better I'll start a garage at home!!! I can make more money than I make here

Man!!! fixing a disc brakes costs more only on the materials & changing the front sprocks is...don't know really what to say? If the materials are in place, it should take not more than 3-4 hours MAX for the job!!! For this why did you land up 25K? BTW, what motorcycle are we talking about here?

If its a conversion, front disc brakes assy will not cost not more than 7K including master cylinder, calipers, hose, tubes & hub. Front sprocks DEFINIETLY not more than a K!!! So see for yourself how much you've paid!!! Sry, couldn't resist pointing a bad experience of a fellow xBhpian!!!

                  HTML Code:

                  Disc assembly - 10.5k
                  Sprocket, Chain, Clutch - 6k
                  Oil Shell - 800
                  STP Oil - 250
Did some other work like, Changed the crash guard, fixed a foldable foot rest on it
Got a mobile charger unit fixed
Thats it..... May be the work is really good, am happy about the bike, only complaint is after changing the sproc the gears have become high and pick up dropped, but in the top gear the cruising speed has gone up at lower RPM's, mileage dropped.
he has misplaced my back rest the the side plates.
