  • 2002 Pulsar 150 Classic - upgrading to gas filled shocks

    Hello All

Am in the process of upgrading pulsar classic shocks to newer pulsar gas filled ones.

I am keeping the original i.e. eliptical swingarm.

My mechanic says that there will be no fitment issues.

The overall pro of this mod as far as I can see is that the ride quality will improve significantly and also it might help in stability.

Any other pros i am missing ???

Any cons i should be aware of ???

    Thanks in advance

I don't think that there would be a problem.

The only difference is that the gas shocks height is 1 inch less(approx.)

You wont have much issue. But the classic look will change a little. I have 2006 version of Pulsar (the very first version that came out with gas shocks). I still have it and have not replaced it.

Why don't you check with local Bajaj dealer if he can source a stock classic spring shock. I heard Bajaj still has all stock part of classic Pulsar.
