      WHY is this thread hibernating?

dude, you may start a R&D by analyzing the sitting posture and mainly handing and stability you want,

      for this you analyze:-
      foot peg position
      seat position
along with the new handle position

don't go for style only, stability and comfort are the priorities.....
We wouldn't need a forum if we all had same opinions, same thoughts, and same bikes..... Enjoy the difference.

handle bar modification for unicorn dazzler

hey guys.....i am new to xbhp and have posted only 1 thread before this one so pls bear with me.....i am a proud owner of a grey(silver) cb unicorn dazzler.....i and one of my frnd who owns the same bike want to put clip on handle bars on our bike....now for some details
        1st i live in Mumbai.
2nd i can afford anything up 2k(a sad students sad budget).
3rd i do not want to put those lame after market aluminium ones as the neither look good nor are they safe(as told to me by my uncle).
        now come the questions:-
        1)where can i get them????
2)how much will it cost me????
        3)do u get different types????
4)will another bikes handlebars fit on mine wit enough mods within my budget???
        5)is it safe????
any help will be really appreciated
        thanx in advance

P.S. i started this thread as there was no existing thread on handle bar mods on unicorn dazzler (specific)

Instead of clip ons I suggest go for the P200 handlebar or the FZ handlebar or the P180UG3 handlebar. These handlebars are lower than the dazzler's. The P180UG3 handle bar is low, the 200's is lower and the FZ's is the lowest.

All of them cost not more than 300 bucks and some extra for the bar end weights. These weights provide more stability to the handlebar and reduce vibrations.

This suggestion makes far more sense than getting clip ons and considering the cost, it is definitely worth a try.

Guess he wants a clip on. Then I don't think any of the OEM clip on's are straight fit.

                @A-BLAZE:
Please restrain from doing handle bar mods on Unicorn Dazzler. Reason? They have tried and tested the position suited best for riding. Any modification to the handle bar or change in position will only result in some physical damage in the long run. I hope you wanted long riding years don't you? It's your call.

Leaving the comfort aside, any handlebar lower than Dazzler's, will hit the tank on either side, leaving scratches on the tank, along with some movement restriction.

Hunk's/Xtreme's handle bar is slightly lower than Dazzler's and you can try them. Even with this handle bar, the switchgear on either side will touch the tank, but you can do some adjustment and go on. I am using Hunk's handle bar and it is lot more comfortable than the stock one (for me). I will post the pictures where it will touch the tank tomorrow.
