My bike ran about 40K and the block has busted in 20K kms itself due to a stupid mech adjusted the tappet too tight which causes carbon formation and scratches on the bore. The early wear also contributed by often touring 12K out of 18K came from touring.
The bike is 4 years old now and I am planning to sell and get R15 in another 6 months. I dont want to change everything to bring her full glory rather I want to set her just right.
Can someone from chennai tell reliable mech who can change the complete block set and valves. I am staying in porur. I am not going to change the timing set, clutch plates etc as I will sell the bike and go for reliable bike such as R15 or any other Jap bike. As the bike is drinking oil I just want to change the block set.
