Sometimes water might have entered the carburetor, and you wont know it all of a sudden. or some foreign particles might have entered with the fuel.
are you running with a stock air filter and did you do any kinda modifications to your bike.
        Whatz your odometer reading?
How do you feel while accelerating till 100kmph? and what about after that?
do you feel like itz running out of petrol or itz accelerating neatly but is slow and steady?
do you hear any unusual sounds?
Presence of MIND and self CONFIDENCE is the primary aspect You need to be on road, not what brand your riding gears are.
If you lack these two then DONT

Absolutly. Kindly shed some light on the above questions.
You can also check the air/fuel mixture ratio.

            im already 24000kms up
i never faced this problem before now when i gop above 100
it really takes a about a kilometre to reach to 105kms and the bike starts vibrating after that

Hi, is you bike jerking when you open the throttle too? Check out the air filter it might be clogged, choked. Some how i believe yours might be a problem of choked air filter. Check out and get back so that we can then look at other possibilities too
RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

You would have to be more specific...
is it a steady and slow acceleration till 100kmph or does it accelerate in periods like giving some jerks.

Read my previous post and tell me about those questions.
Just get it to a authorized service station and mention the problem.
I suppose carburettor cleaning and tuning will get your bike back to the way you loved it. It would just cost you INR 100. Ask them to check the air and fuel filter too.
and 24000kms is a good long clock, hope you do service propely.

And please elaborate about "vibration above 100", does it knock?

[Vibrating at higher speeds can just be a carburettor tuning issue or a clogged fuel or air filter, or a cdi or it can be a timing chain issue...or some other thing]
though am not all sure what it can be.
Try to be more accurate, ride your bike once more and concentrate on details that might help experts put in their views.
                like...
1.How the bike feels while accelerating?
-whether it gives jerks / is it a steady and slow acceleration but from the sound it feels like its going in high speed.
2.The speed you used get at some rpm and how it is now?
3.The maximum rpm you are able to hit after which vibrations occur..?
4.Do you hear or feel any unusual sounds or rough movements from the engine, if yes like what.
                5. Do you have any extra fittings or modifications done on Lights, horn, air filters, exhausts or anything...

                Experts please put some light...

even i feel its some thing with the air intake obstruction.
We wouldn't need a forum if we all had same opinions, same thoughts, and same bikes..... Enjoy the difference.

a bike will not vibrate just because its carburetor is clogged. the carburetor weighs not even 1/10th of the weight of the bike. the vibrations are a issue of so many things put together. Cdi unit is responsible for providing sparks to the engine. how does it vibrate a bike post 100 ?

@psychophobic : please do get an overall service for ur vehicle. mention carburetor cleaning, wheel alignment, chain slack adjustment, maintain appropriate tyre pressure, get the engine oil changed if necessary, air and oil filter replaced. are ur brakes rubbing against the front discs ? do check and update this thread when ur problems find a solution.

I think he is a newbie.. so was wondering what he meant by vibration. and i think a rich mixture or a damaged main jet can cause vibration. he might not have noticed any vibrations before and once when he found that his bike is not revving anymore he might have observed it.
I think he's not able to pin down the reactions of the bike...

contact a rider and arrange a get together (g2g), he might be able to help you.

Well, the water wash clearly knocked some sense in to the speedometer else how on earth can a Unicorn do 130kmph with ease??
