I own a white ZMR... No major issues till now but there are some minor issues that i need to know about... maybe they aren't issues...

i hope you all will help me out...

My ZMR's just 4 Months old and i could do only 3300KM on her... I do ride fast but only when i'm late.. otherwise i'm on a normal spped of 50 - 60KPH...

now comes the main issue... There's this sound that i feel that comes from the engine.... maybe of the tappets or something in engine... it's not too loud.. but yea i can hear it when i ride.....

tappet issue most probably

The handle makes a very light tick noise when it goes into a pot-hole, even at the speed of 10 or 20... i had issues with the clutch spring once when it broke and i had to wait for 20 days for the spares to come... anyways... here's my issue..

1. Has anyone heard any kind of noise from the ZMR's engine???

most of the time tappet noise, sometimes requires cam chain tension er replacement

2. Any self starter's issues??? (my ZMR doesn't takes self at times... u need to leave it for 2 min then she'll take the self again)....

not in my case in entire bike's lifetime. take it to asap as it is under warranty.

3. Any other issues that anyone has faced till now...

some owners have faced battery issue.

Please share your views with me so that i can maintain her nicely... it's my first with my salary... so it's special as well... :P

One more thing... i touch 120 before the second service....

i just couldn't stop myself on the highway....

Looking forward for good suggestions...

Just ride her well, don't rip it above limits, wax bike every month and service bike timely.

I have complaint about the tappets noise in both the services, even took it after two weeks of purchase but the guy said there is no noise...

I sometimes feel that the guys here aren't completely trained on how to handle the ZMR...

I'll try n get the Self starter issue rectified soon... will take her to the service center this weekend...

i haven't ripped her hard till now... don't want to either...

By the way.. is it possible to get the cam chain tensioner to get damaged so soon??? i mean i have been hearing this sound since the second week of my purchase.... so any ideas what it could be????

well it shouldn't be the case, but you know it is a machine so things may happen. you don't have to worry as bike is under warranty. you may have to struggle with HH SVC to have the job done
