  • Help needed From Puneites riding R15

    Hello everybody......

I have been following the R15 ownership thread and it had helped me a lot in deciding to finally go for my dream bike. I have just completed 500 Kms on my R15, and getting ready to get it serviced after a few days.

I need some help from fellow puneites.

    1. which SC would be the best to get my bike serviced?
    2. I wish to put some stickers like a "YOKAHAMA" sticker on the silencer & "OKEY" stickers on the side panels. Can anybody guide me where Can I get these stickers.
    3. Where to buy a proper riding jacket? anything at around 3-4 k...

also a small piece of advice from fellow XBHP'ians :

I am really happy with the performance of the bike when I ride alone, but when I ride with a pillion on uneven roads or when crossing a high speed-breaker I feel some kind of thing hitting something at my right footrest which I am worried about a little. The SC guys at Yamaha Riders told me they will look into it at the time of first service. Please let me know if you can suggest something....

A: The factory shop at wakdewadi will be the best place to get your bike serviced.

The hitting is probably the Saree guard on the left side hitting the axle nut.
Check out the bottom and side of hte saree guard ans see if there are any marks.

Thanks Vikram..... I checked the Saree guard but it is okay, no scratch marks. And I feel the hit on my right footrest, which i tried to check by looking at the monoshock but there are no scratch marks not there even... dunno what's causing the problem....

I will be going to factory shop for servicing on Friday maybe and will report the problem there....... also maybe i'll check out the DSG Shop also...
