Are you sure that this needs to be done? Have you even attempted doing this even after a half tank full?

Way to go!!! Its good that you're also checking the battery. Keep an eye on it too. If the battery conks off, you can't get the motor started. May be have a spare one or just start your motorcycle once in 2 days or so.

Are you showing the bike in Adayar PBK?

Ask them for a list of the parts changed.

@Aargee: Thnx brother. I appreciate your suggestion...

@Praful: No, dude. Now that I moved in Chrompet area, so I use to give the bike to the nearest Bajaj service centre...These guys knows the PBK type works, but you need to push them by showing curiosity about your bike-issues.

@Mech: Will keep that in my mind, bro (for the next servicing)

I also had the same problem with DTS-FI.... It happened two times.. The first time they said the petrol tank was rusted and had to be replaced which id did. It also happened a second time within two weeks after getting the bike. This time they blamed it on a faulty relay.. Replaced it and now its working fine.. No problems.

They checked the fuse and all and found nothing wrong. The engine would start for 15 seconds and then go dead..
