  • Creaking noise from the headlight's visor.

I own a one year old CBZ extreme.. after its last service.. i began to notice a creaking sound from the visor as the rpm rises. It goes down when i hold the visor. Im not sure wts causing it. Ive stuffed the sides with the butt of a cigarette for now. Looking for a permanent fix. Advice required..

firstly fasten all screws, bolts and nuts.

try tapping the visor at different points to hear the vibrating sound as you are fastening up.
We wouldn't need a forum if we all had same opinions, same thoughts, and same bikes..... Enjoy the difference.

        ..

Took off the visor.. and replaced it.. n tightened al the screws.. it dosent vibe much at low revs.. but if i hit a pothole.. it acts up.. i noticed tiny pieces of foam in between the visor.. maybe one of the service guys had inserted it there..

          make some rubber washers.

use an old tube. (the rubber shouldn't be thick)

put them in between visor and fairing.

          and presto... no vibes.
