  • help please, pulsar 200 clutch plates!

    Hello all,
i have pulsar 200cc 2007 modal. i have just replaced the clutch plates. as in manual there are three types of clutch plates-normal-4 quantity, type b-1 and type c-1 quantity. but i didn't found type c so just installed 5 normal and type b-1. the service mechanic told me type b and type c is now old. now in all new bike bajaj use only normal plates. so he suggested me to only use normals no need of b type and c type plates. but i just told him and he installed 5 normal and 1 b type plate.
now the thing was -pickup was awesome. but now i am feeling lots of vibrations on speed 75 and above which was earlier felt on 100 and above.
i don't know why its happened. mechanic told me to change sprocket also because chain is vibrating.
so masters is that solution or new plates takes time to adjust vibration i mean i have to wait for some time???
also when i used to run on high speed continue display shows the oil indicator while oil is more than max level.

    please suggest me.

        Just my thoughts..

There are various factors contributing to vibration, some of them could be loosened body parts , incorrect sprocket and even to an extent worn out wheel bearing. Check for the optimum oil.

Have you checked if they are the clutch plates for your model?

check chain sprocket set, hub bearings before anything else. Is the chain excessively loose or too tight???

            sir,
clutch plates as per manual is three a type 4qt. b type 1qt. c type 1qt.
i found only a and b type and added a type more for c type as its not found any where.
so a type 5+ btype 1 plates sets.
