    Reg. Bajaj 150 cc(2002 Model) Battery

    Dear Friends,
    I would like to replace the battery of my Bajaj Pulsar 150cc (2002 Model). I would like to know the specifications/brand for the battery which works better. Please kindly help me.

      i think 2002 model pulsar has 6Ah battery. why don't you get it done at ASS.

          @Santhanam: the Pulsar 150 (non-DTSi, kick start), also referred to as the Pulsar 150 Classic by some, came with a 12 Volt 2.5 AH battery. The higher specification batteries are more voluminous and will require a minor modification in the battery holder frame. Unless you have installed higher wattage lamps/horns/other gizmos, the stock battery should do well.

          Exide and Amaron appear to be the most popular batteries. You will again have to decide if you want a so called maintenance free one or a conventional lead-acid battery.

          Costs approx 600 odd plus your old battery.

            You can check this information in the owners manual of the Vehicle as well. As a suggestion, go for a sealed type battery. easier maintenance and no mess.
