What is the advantage of doing this to an Indian bike?
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

i am wondering what significant difference does this make on an indian bike... I think this will lessen the effort for clutch disengaging ,right? Also what is expected from 'this type of hydraulic clutch' system. is it just replacing the cable system with hydraulic arrangement till the clutch actuation arm or does this involve with anything in the internals too ?
what other advantage does this have other than more life ??

                Advantages

                1. The main purpose of fitting a hydraulically operated clutch is to overcome the often high leverage pressure needed to disengage & engage the clutch which can be done via a cable & mechanical levet set-up but again it is limited by the leverage angle at both the handlebar & clutch operating pivot.
                2. Hydraulic clutch has lighter lever effort than a cable clutch.
                3. One never has to tighten or change the cable or virtually requires no maintenence of the cable.
                4. Fill the master cylinder with DOT 3 or 4 brake oil used for disc brakes and ur good to go.

                Disadvantages

1.A strong myth exists that the feel of the hydraluic clutch is not as superior as the Wire Clutch.
                2. Prone to pressure variations like in the case of disc brake where bleeding is required.
                3. Adjustment is limited.

^^ mate there, pls. avoid quoting the entire post with pics. Takes a lot of time to load and also feels irritating to every one who goes by what's inside the thread.

                      Thanx to all for encouragement,
                      Details-

Master cylinder- cast aluminum, cylinder dia 0.25 inches.
Slave Cylinder- Machined aluminum, cylinder dia 0.75 inches.
                      Silicon V seals used.
The slave was milled out of a solid chunk of aluminum using a CNC, and is as solid as possible.
The connecting pipes are steel braided used for industrial machinery.
                      Fluid used is DOT 4.

                      Already said by dual-disc-200

                      Advantages-
                      1. Easier clutch movement, much less force.
                      2. No adjustments or maintenance.
                      3. Fit And Forget reliability.

The clutch feedback thing is a MYTH, and is busted. guys, u have to ride any of these bikes to feel the feedback. AWesome!!
Better than any of the bikes ive ridden so far.(Most indian Bikes)

As for Cost it was an experimental project for my final year B.Tech, and came to about 12k for two bikes. But will come down significantly if i wanted to make another, as lots of trial and error with wrong calculations extended the budget.

The mechanism doesn't touch any internals or any part for that matter. Complete Bolt-On. You can revert back to mechanical in about 15 mins.

The main joy of this setup is in Bumper 2 Bumper. I am using just two fingers to actuate.

Yes dude, high performance bikes usually have hard clutch pull, but we are talking about mere 15bhp machines, how hard their clutch can get?.And like u said, it virtually requires no maintenance like cable, thats a plus, is it worth spending extra money just for that?
@Racerdabba- hats off to u dude, thats one hell of a DIY project.
