Hello All,
I have been using my Honda shine from about 9 months. I got the below problem about a month back.
From about a month, when ever I start my bike, it hardly move forward on 1st and 2nd gear or it will stop. What I have observed is Suppose if we can divide the accelerator range in to 10 equal parts and I move the accelerator to position 1,2 the engine raises and if I move to 3, engine slows down and stops. The engine raises again from 3rd position.I mean to say it is been very difficult for me to start the bike and move on. it takes at least 20 to 30 min to have smooth movement.
Couple of days back, I have given the bike for servicing in HONDA showroom and mentioned the issue. They did not solve it. During the delivery I aurgued and they felt like they are giving out their money from their pocket. Finally they simply increased the RPM of bike, due to which now the bike is making a little more noise.
Today, I showed to a local mechanic and he opened something under the battery area, and taken out 50ml of petrol from it to check for dust, He said that there was some water in it and told that there is possibility of dust in carburator. Should I let him open it tomorrow?
Additional info on my usage
--I used the same petrol bunk for first 6 months and recently switched to other, which increased my mileage a little.
--I do have a habbit of using the Self start in early morning with Choke on. Now the problem description
--I will drive in city, that too will ride in max 60 speed.
--I had it serviced all the 3 times in Honda showroom.
