  • yamaha rx 135 pickup problem

    hi guyz . i have a yamaha rx 135 . it does not have any pick up at all . i have tried boring the cylinder . usin 2nd oversize piston . i have replaced the clutch and pressure plates . i have checked the reed valves i have even chaged the jets and also tried replacing the filter with a k&n . but it does not help . can somone plese tell me why andhow to increase the pike pickup . i use only genuine original yamaha parts from the showroom . please help me guyz

        Just for Go to a local mechanic who has a spare carburetor.. fit that in your bike and do a testing. hope you haven't changed anything in gears or done some sprocketing to increase top end. Also check for a choked silencer or exhaust port.. That is culprit in most of the times.

          Always trouble shoot the issue only from stock condition. Check for the AFR(Air fuel ratio). Remove K&N.

            remove k&n go back to stock set up (k&n will kill your engine if not jetted properly)
            tune carb @ 1.5 turms out, needle at middle slot
            decarb exhaust/ engine
            look for leaks @ exhaust joints, under head. cylinder , intake manifold etc..
