  • Whistling sound from new R15

    Hello Friends..
Has any of you experienced a kinda whistling sound from Yamaha R15.
I have been observing it since I purchased my bike. I hear it as soon as I on the engine(not the ignition) and continues for some time and it comes on regular basis. I also hear the same sound at high speeds.
I dont think dat its any defect or something but am just curious to know what is this sound actually.
If any of you have any idea about it pls let me know.

I have also experienced the same sound from my R15. I got it 10 days back. I isolated the sound to the tank cover's key hole. When I get the sound, I blow air into the key hole and the noise stops. I still don't know why it is happening.

Even I was wondering, then I asked my mechanic, it's simply the fuel pump, which is located in the fuel tanks, it's not a problem!
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

^^ It IS the noise from the Fuel Pump, don't have the tech know-how so can't say whats causing that, spoke to the SVC guy, he says the sound is caused when the pump pulls the fuel

Get used to it brother, thats the way the bike talks to you, dont make her shut up, just pat her and say "yes we gonna ride long and we gonna ride safe"
