Hi all, I am a newbie here at xBhp... got my Pulsar 220 3.5 months back...1st servicing done...4K on the odo...Filled Motul 5100 at 2500kms...gear shifting is a breeze...But some eenie-meenie glitches have started troubling me.. mentioning them here...
    1. Fairing vibes [have started living with it]
    2. Screeching sound from rear disks even when rear brake is not applied [dont think brake pads will wear out this early]...like some metal part sticking to each other..
    3. Morning starting troubles....doesn't start widout 4-5 cranks and a bit of throttle...

Expert members, please guide me on this...

      Re: Pulsar - 220 F Problem

      hello,
      My name is Kashish Gupta
      currently i owned a Pulsar 220F (2011 model)
completed 55k KM's. i am facing a problem with bikes electronics.
from past 2 months whenever i am riding my bike it shuts down automatically. everything shuts down including meter lights and bike loses power suddenly.
but when i switch it off and on again it gain its electricity but it takes 2 3 attempts to self-start the bike.
first i thought the battery might be weak that is why this is happening than i check the battery and i found there is nothing wrong with the battery. battery is absolutely fine and making a full charge.
than i take my bike to local mechanic he said this might be happening because of carbon on battery slots he cleaned them and everything works fine for next 2 days.
after 2 days this problem arise again. so i told him in past i faced a problem "wire broke" which was solved by him.
i dont know the name of that part, it is present under fuel tank, a white color cylendrical box (i guess ECu).
around 1 year ago the wire coming out of that box is touching with chases Rod(wire was broke), and that time i am facing almost the same problem but one thing is different, it didnt solve with switching on and off the bike like presently i am doing.
many times whenever i give full throtle specially in 2nd 3rd gear it doesnt feel like bike is giving full power to wheels.....it fells like something is pulling the bike and it is giving power in installments.....

so before going to Service center i just wanted to know the rough idea what might be the problem because Bajaj service center of my area is not trust worthy (suman bajaj-noida).
i am hoping you people might help me in this.

      thank you.
