  • Need Help: Pulsar 180UG3 seat stuck

    Hi Guys,

The seat on my Pulsar 180UG3 is stuck and I can't seem to get it open by pulling the wire under the left side panel.

I guess the seat got stuck when I put in my tool kit under it and pressed hard from the top (because the notch wasn't fitting in the seat lock, and I had to go somewhere urgently). I am amazed at how silly I've been!

Now the seat is just stuck as if it was part of the frame itself.

Could someone please suggest an alternate way to get the seat out of the lock?

Thanks a ton for your help and time.

Try getting the wire pulled by someone else and you should pull the seat backwards and upwards, holding it with both hands from the pillion seat area. Try shaking the seat left and right while pulling it upwards.
That should solve it. Did it?

I have kept all kinds of treasures under the seat but it never got stuck: First aid kit, of company, and one of my own, a tubeless puncture repair kit with 2 big tools, bike's tool kit, bike's papers and license copies and finally, my chinese alarm cum self start system's components. My seat never got stuck?!
