Weird problem with my pulsar 150 dtsi ug2
Hello everybody...I hope you all are doing fine!!.....Regarding my bike it has clocked approximately 30k kms out of which it had a bore+piston kit replacement at 25k kms.....Still i have kept my bike in optimum condition and it is quite a fun to ride my bike....Recently i noticed a problem that when i go to change the engine oil of my bike , instead of 1litre it needs 1.1litres.....When i pour 1litre the oil level just touches the bottom of the stick, not in between the desired markings on the dipstick...But as soon as i pour an extra 100ml then the oil level touches the top desired level of the dipstick.....Again i noticed that after running for approximately 600kms with the engine oil change, the engine seems to consume about 50ml of oil but i cant see white fumes at high speed nor can i find sticky deposits at the end of the silencer pipe after a hard revving of my motorbike.....
I am very disappointed with these problems in my bike..So it would be quite helpful to me if u guys could throw some light on these problems...Plzz help me out guys!!....Tags: None

this is a very common problem in pulsar.............check for oil leakages through oil seals, stem seals etc.
then check the clutch plate conditions.
if above 2 conditions are ok, that means damage to block pistion. keep pouring additional oil and ride happily, till you and your bike are ready for next block piston job.

What does stem seal refer to???.......Regarding clutch plates my ike is doing an approx. of 55kmph at 4000rpm in 5th gear./.......So i dont think that clutch plate is a problem...Rite???.........How can a block piston get damaged within 5k kms when i drove here quite carefully......Every morning before i go out for a ride i give her some blank kickstarts so that the engine oil goes up to the clinder and then i start the bike and let it idle for approx 2mins so that no damage is done to the piston and block....Bdw oil leaking should be prevalent when im riding the bike and not when im pouring engine oil in the bike...Rite???.....Then how can my bike consume that 100 ml of extra engine oil???

stem seal means oil seals for valve stems.
regarding clutch plates, it is better to get it inspected by an experienced mechanic.
regarding block piston, let me tell you a story. i too have a P150 UG3, i have done block piston job twice. 1st time i used company authentic block piston kit, and second time i simply got it bored to 0.5 mm higher size by my trusted mechanic and used a bigger size piston. you will be surprized to know that in second case i got a near perfect seal, better than bajaj original block piston i used 1st time. during 1st block piston job, as soon as the running -in period of 1000 kms was finished, bike was again consuming oil. how do you explain that. and local mechanic reboring job is workiing fine till date.
so ..........moral of the story is .............strange things do happen with pulsars.
